22 He built [a]Elath, and restored it to Judah, after that the king slept with his fathers.

23 ¶ In the fifteenth year of Amaziah the son of Joash king of Judah, was Jeroboam the son of Joash made king over Israel in Samaria, and reigned one and forty years.

24 And he did evil in the sight of the Lord: for he departed not from all the [b]sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, which made Israel to sin.
